Anthony Mingoia is an American musician who is the drummer for the band Patent Pending.

Early Life Edit

Anthony was born on September 25, 1983.

He attented Mount Sinal High School in Mount Sanai, New York City where bandmates Drew Buffardi and Joe Ragosta also attended.

Joining Patent Pending Edit

Anthony was approached by Joe Ragosta and Drew Buffardi because they were forming a band and he was the only drummer they knew of in their school.

After about a month of no activity, the band officially finally had their first official band practice. Anthony showed up to Joe's house on a moped. After around 10-15 minutes of practicing Joe asked Anthony if he wanted to watch a Blink-182 DVD to which Anthony said yes, sometime during watching the DVD Joe went to the bathroom and after coming back and found Anthony was gone with his moped still outside.

After searching his entire house for around an hour and 25 minutes, Anthony kicks over the garbage can in Joe's kitchen where it turns out he was hiding under Joe's kitchen counter as a way to 'break the ice' and he's been in the band ever since.

Equipment Edit

Anthony has used various kits over the years with Patent Pending. His most well known kit is a Truth custom kit with a blue glitter wrap and pink hardware.

He also has a dark green Tama kit.

He is also known for building his own custom acrylic snare drums.

When he's not using playing drums with the band he also has a small practice Sonor kit at his house with Paiste hi-hats and Evans drumheads.

He also uses Zildjian A custom cymbals, Promark drumsticks and Evans drumheads.

Trivia Edit

  • He along with Joe Ragosta are the only members of the band who have been a part of the band's line up since forming, but Anthony's the only member who's status hasn't changed.
